The Arctic is changing faster than anywhere else on Earth — and understanding those changes has never been more urgent. The Arctic Research Group is a volunteer‑run UK charity dedicated to independent scientific research in one of the planet’s most fragile environments. Every contribution, whether financial or practical, directly strengthens our ability to study the Arctic and share insights that help protect our global future.
We are entirely volunteer‑led, with no paid staff, and our work relies on donations, grants, sponsorships, and the expertise, enthusiasm, energy and contributions of those who join our expeditions.

Cash Donations & Gift Aid
Cash donations are the most effective way to support us. We secure the best possible supplier discounts so every pound works harder. UK taxpayers can boost their gift through Gift Aid, increasing a £1,000 donation to £1,250 at no extra cost. In addition, UK tax payers can claim relief on the tax they have paid on the donations they've made. UK Businesses can also donate through similar schemes that redirect part of their tax to charity.
