2027 Expedition
Planning for the 2027 expedition has officially begun. Following the safe and successful completion of the 2025 Tempelfjord expedition, we are now developing plans for the next ARG environmental science expedition to Svalbard.
We warmly welcome ideas and proposals from Arctic researchers, as well as applications from experienced mountaineers and researchers of all ages interested in participating.
We also invite new supporters and donors to join us. As expedition costs continue to rise, their support plays an important role in making this work possible.

Arctic Research Group welcomes applications from both younger and more experienced individuals interested in participating in Arctic expeditions.
As a volunteer-based charity, ARG offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Arctic field research, expedition work, and safety practices, while making a meaningful contribution to each expedition.
Younger members play an important role in shaping the future of Arctic field research. At the same time, experienced mountaineers and field researchers are vital in supporting, mentoring, and working alongside the next generation of expedition participants.
