Our Mission

The five Founder Members of the Arctic Research Group share a passion for the extreme outdoors, the adventure, the science, the people, the place, the weather, the mountains, the glaciers, the flora and the fauna.

Finding a way to help vital environmental research to benefit society and better understand and protect the planet we live on, is at the heart of the Arctic Research Group.

The Founder Members exist with a strong desire to visit the Arctic, an itch that once you scratch it, it needs scratching again, and again, and again.

Bringing these things together and the Arctic Research Group has it’s mission – to plan, support and complete safe, environmental, multidisciplinary, scientific, small expeditions in the High Arctic, to increase knowledge and share it freely with the scientific community.
