ARG to launch Friends of ARG
Coming soon is a new opportunity to help support scientific environmental research in the High Arctic by becoming a Friend of ARG. To become a Friend of ARG all you need to do is make an annual minimum £20 donation and provide your e-mail address. If you regularly pay £5 for a drink, then just once a quarter, all you need to do is drink a glass of fresh water instead of buying your usual drink and you'll cover the cost of your support for the Arctic Research Group, you'll be no worse off, and you'll still be hydrated and not thirsty for that drink.
The benefits of being a Friend of ARG include knowing that 100% of your annual donation will go towards supporting the UK registered charity (and you can help more with this by paying the transaction fees when you donate). If you are a UK tax payer, and want to Gift Aid your donation, which adds 25% to the value of your donation to us, at no extra cost to you, please state this in the comments and provide your e-mail address and we will contact you to enable the Gift Aid process.
As well as this, when you provide your e-mail address as you make your minimum £20 annual donation to become eligible to be a Friend of ARG, you will receive an e-mail pdf of a specially designed annual certificate to print off at home and display, to recognise and keep in mind, your status as a Friend of ARG.
In addition, Friends of ARG will receive exclusive periodical e-mail updates from the Arctic Research Group which will keep you up to date with progress of the work we do. In addition, the updates will keep Friends of ARG informed of any specific needs that we are working to fulfil, so that if you've got connections or can help us to secure the resources or support we need, then you will be demonstrating your true friendship as a Friend of ARG.
Finally, there will be the opportunity for Friends of ARG to choose to have their support openly recognised by being included in the list of Friends on the website.
