Arctic Science Summit Week 2026 Project Poster Success

An amazing opportunity was grasped with both hands by 2025 expedition members Joseph Ricketts and Natalia Sarmanto as they presented their poster about their research project at the Arctic Science Summit Week 2026 held at Aarhus University in Denmark.

"When we applied to present our project we were very pleased to be accepted and have been delighted by the welcome we've received from the Arctic science community" commented Joseph.

Meeting and greeting a lot of people and talking about their project 'Comparative Study of Flora and Fauna at key sites in Bunsow Land, Spitsbergen, Svalbard between July 1983 and July 2025' meant that time flew for the expedition colleagues. They both took the opportunity to attend as many of the presentation sessions as well as discuss opportunities for further research and collaboration with other attendees.

Natalia enthused "It was inspiring to see the variety of research being carried out and to learn about similar projects and findings from other researchers. The event also provided great inspiration for future projects".
