Precision in every sample.

Every water sample collected in Svalbard represents a valuable piece of a much larger climate story.

During the 2025 Tempelfjorden Expedition, our team collected twenty carefully controlled samples from ten locations, including meltwater from four glaciers. Working alongside ongoing research with the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS), these samples will help scientists better understand nitrogen cycling beneath glaciers and the role of nitrous oxide—a powerful greenhouse gas—in Arctic environments.
Field sampling in the High Arctic demands patience, precision, and teamwork. Every uncontaminated sample brings us one step closer to understanding how the rapidly changing climate is influencing our planet.
