Margo K. joins the ARG

Margo has been welcomed as another new member of ARG. Margo K. is an independent researcher based between Paris and Iceland.

With a background in architecture and spatial design in Paris, she is now relocating to Iceland, where she is pursuing work in industrial environments alongside her research into how physical environments and material processes influence human perception, embodied interaction and the capacity to act. Her approach combines field observation, writing and experimental visual documentation.
A Bachelor of Arts from Charles University in Prague, Margo also studied at the Sorbonne in Paris through a scholarship programme during her degree.
Her experience living and working in Costa Rica, Greenland and Iceland has involved adapting to remote and off-grid environments, including extended periods working in small teams. Through practical involvement in field operations and station support, she has gained experience in infrastructure and daily maintenance, equipment handling, vehicle work, technical setup, documentation and coordination.
On joining ARG, Margo says: “I'm curious about the work ARG is doing and want to be useful in its research activities. Arctic environments fascinate me, and I see this as a pretty cool opportunity to get involved, contribute and learn along the way. ”
