Margo K. is an independent researcher based between Paris and Iceland. With a background in architecture and spatial design in Paris, she is now relocating to Iceland, where she is pursuing work in industrial environments alongside her research into how physical environments and material processes influence human perception, embodied interaction and the capacity to act. Her approach combines field observation, writing and experimental visual documentation.
Margo K. holds a Bachelor of Arts from Charles University in Prague. After working in architecture and spatial design in Paris, she is now relocating to Iceland, where she is pursuing work in industrial environments that also informs her independent research.
Her research examines relationships between human experience, physical environments and embodied interaction, incorporating field observation, writing and experimental visual documentation.
Her experience in Iceland and Greenland includes working in remote and off-grid settings, collaborating in small teams for extended periods, with practical involvement in maintenance, equipment handling, vehicle work and documentation. Margo is looking forward to her first expedition to Svalbard.
