Neil Haycock

Neil spends nearly every spare moment involved in a large range of outdoor activities. He has been a climbing instructor, mountain bike guide, and a caver who has explored new passages in one of Britain’s most difficult caves. He is a qualified yacht skipper and has worked internationally undertaking yacht delivery.

He has mountaineered at high altitudes in the Andes and Europe, and is still often found at a crag, Welsh mountain bike trail, or sleeping out somewhere wild under the stars.

Neil read physical geography and geology at The University of Nottingham winning the university’s physical geography prize in his graduation year. Neil still has an active interest in all things geographical and environmental.
